Will Nums™ impact my everyday use of the trackpad?
No, Nums™ will NOT affect your everyday use of your trackpad in the “mouse mode.” The touch and feel is identical to your MacBook’s original trackpad. You will barely notice the difference.
To switch from the “number mode” to the “mouse mode” is extremely easy, just swipe inward from the upper right corner of the trackpad. That’s it!
Wait, there’s something better. We are devoted to improving every single detail in your user experience. The software is also smart enough to recognize when you are not typing numbers, but forget to switch. When your single finger movement is longer than people’s normal movement for number typing, Nums™ will automatically switch back to the “mouse mode“, so you will not be interrupted. Pretty smart, right? :)

Does Nums™ need power to work? Will I have to charge it?
No, Nums™ is completely power-free and eco-friendly. It integrates the best of patented software and an award-wining hardware. Nums™ ultra-thin smart glass keyboard has received 20+ patents, for its innovative software and hardware designs.
Nums™’s unparalleled product quality could also protect your trackpads from scratches and other damages. The symbols are printed on the back of the glass, so it’s fadeless, literally. The metallic ink reflects light in dark environment, so you will have the best experience wherever you are.
There are products on the market that either serve as a quick launch software or a clunky number pad peripherals. There are no products that could do both. Only Nums™ :)

Does Nums™ support Windows?
Nums™ for Windows is currently under development. We are excited about our progress and we can’t wait to share them with you. The biggest challenge for Windows development is that the size of Windows laptop trackpads varies a lot by brand. We are currently focusing on Surface, as its size is relatively standardized, like MacBooks.
Please support us and help us to bring Windows versions to life! Prototyping and software optimizations are very costly. We need your support to continue developing the best-in-class products for Windows.
We also offer Nums™ supporter package, which includes an iphone cable, a product sketch from our inventor, and most importantly an exclusive Nums™ supporter ID. Is it easy to attach Nums™? What if I mess up... ?
Yes, it is.
Nums™ fits your trackpad perfectly. Just align it with the edge of your trackpad, you will be fine. Please make sure that you have cleaned your trackpad with the alcohol pad we provide in the package. Trust us, it’s so much easier than attaching a screen-protector to your phone ;)
If you do want to adjust it, don’t worry, just gently take it off your trackpad, clean your trackpad, and then try again. Nums™ will not leave any residual on your trackpad. If there’s some dust left on the sticky side of the glass while you take it off your trackpad, no problem at all, just use small amount of water to quickly and gently wash the glass. DON’T use anything to wipe it. Wait till it’s dry and try again.

Will Nums™ leave residual on my trackpad when take it off?
Nope, not at all!
Nums™ will not leave any residual on your trackpad. (The real question though, why take it off? :))
If you are trying to re-attach Nums™ to the trackpad and there’s some dust left on the sticky side of the glass when you take it off, no problem at all, just use small amount of water to quickly and gently wash the glass. DON’T use anything to wipe it. Wait till it’s dry and try again.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
